Naturals In The City quarterly lifestyle meet-up is here again. It is the 16th edition and it promises to be fun! We'll be talking herbs, yoga, GMOs and of course, hair. You need to attend.
In the meantime, if you're not yet sold on the whole meet-ups, here are five valid reasons you could reconsider.
- To bond with kindred spirits.
For naturalistas, meet-ups are possibly the only avenue we get to bond and network over hair and sometimes, food. Granted, the awareness isn’t mainstream yet so we still have a lot of work to do. But during meet-ups, we throw all of that out of the window for a couple of hours and just have some good ole fun. Funny enough, all of the new friends I’ve made in recent times have been as a result of the quarterly meet-ups I attend. So, if you’re looking to bond with kindred spirits, meet-ups are a good place to start.
Naturals in The City, Lagos quarterly meet up is slaying this weekend!! We will have an actual Yoga workshop so dress comfortably and bring a mat! We will have a limited number of mats available so bring yours to be sure you get one. @nsaevolves who is a certified Yoga instructor will also be talking to us about YOGA AND MINDFUL LIVING. The benefits of yoga are enormous for all ages. Come, listen and see how it will benefit you. #nitc16 #nitc #naturalnigerian
Herbs. They are abundant and placed around us for our use. For health. Wealth. Nourishment. Come learn how you can nourish your body with herbs, how you can improve your health with them. How to take them safely. There will be a show and tell given by Mrs. Nwosu (former matron at Federal Medical Center). I particularly like the fact that she will worked in the medical field for decades and is still in touch with nature. #nitc16 #nitc #naturalnigerian
