Big Sis's Graduation Natural Hair: Twisted Mohawk Hairstyle

To start off this style, cleanse your hair with your favorite hair cleanser. After that moisturize it to help lock in moisture and promote shine.

STYLING...

Section damp hair into two sections and put into ponytails with hair ties.

Apply your favorite gel generously to the base of each section.

Working on the top section, take a little portion of hair, apply either a styling lotion or hair mousse and then gel.

Twist the hair and roll into perm rod

Make sure to dry the hair completely before unraveling it.

  1. Wow, this is super easy and super cool. Even though I am not as young as her, I will be making this on my hair pretty soon. I just hope I can part my hair into a perfect half like that.

    1. Thank you. One way you can get a perfect horizontal half parting is to put a headband on, with the headband on your forehead and then trace the rat tail comb along the side of the headband at the back of your head. I will create a video to demonstrate in the future.

    2. Please do o. I can't seem to understand what you are describing. Hair styling is not one of my greatest strengths.
