NaturalistasPoll: Will You Style your Natural Hair on your wedding Day?

source
Hello Naturalistas,

With my hair texture i have been thinking (Not like i'm ready to get married *side eye*) Would i really want to style my natural hair for my wedding (if it eventually happens), after so much thought I decided i would. Why? After banging and banging my hair and Head last week from the protective style i did, it was such an easy decision to make.

By the way, Is it not supposed to be "protective"? What is it protecting me from if i have to bang my head when it gets itchy errmm, less then 2 weeks after making it? But thats talk for another Wednesday.

Today, its all about you, Please use the comment box and let us know why you will style (or not Style) your Natural hair for your big day. We have also added a poll on the side gadget where you can vote.

Have a lovely Wednesday. For more ideas on how to style your hair on your wedding day, click here.

  2. I haven't decided yet. I know I posted Natural Wedding Hairstyles a while back. I think it'll depend on my dress and where the wedding is. I don't want to have to battle shrinkage, and I don't want twists.

Let's say: We're on the fence.

    1. Berry, there are many bridal styles that have nothing to do with shrinkage, and are not twists. So you have no excuse, lol.

  3. Yes I am gonna style my hair naturally. There's no other way for me o. Even the style I have on now can go for a bridal style. A professional stylist did it for me for a TV interview.

  5. Yes. I've always wanted to do a sort of beehive with braids for my wedding, even before I went natural. BTW, totally unrelated, but thank you for the package. Can't thank you enough. After just 2 applications, my dandruff is completely gone!

    2. @ Uche: Glad it is working for you. Please, tell your friends about it.

@ Berry: I hope you know you are a joker. Don't you know one of our products is the Anti-Dandruff herbal rinse?

    3. I refuse to order if you don't send me the picture I asked for.

And anyways, you can give it to me as a birthday gift :p

  7. Well i think i will wear it natural but will style it in an updo with Marley or Afro hair extensions to make it full enough to achieve the style i want. Oh yes i have a style now to find a stylist. I'm Ghana btw :)

  8. As in, will we style it ourselves or get a stylist to do it? Or just wear it out in general? I will have my Afro hair out on my wedding day. I rarely wear extensions anyway, also, it sets me apart from other brides w/o Afro hair.
and there needs to be more natural brides.

There are endless styles one can achieve that doesn't involve twists or Afro kinky styles :)

Also, please share with us your "tv interview" hair. Thx
